In the dynamic landscape of the Central Baltic region, where innovation and entrepreneurship thrive, a groundbreaking initiative is set to commence this February. The Acceleration Program, designed to address the challenges faced by new growth companies, will employ the Triple Bottom Line (3BL) methodology. This unique approach integrates the pursuit of profit with a dedicated focus on environmental sustainability (Planet) and social responsibility (People).
The visionary 36-month project aims to reshape the trajectory of startups in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, and Finland, fostering not only economic growth but also a positive impact on the planet and society. By adopting the 3BL methodology, the accelerator program seeks to create a sustainable foundation for emerging businesses, aligning economic prosperity with environmental stewardship and social welfare.
Throughout the project’s duration, 96 startups from the Central Baltic region will be carefully selected and nurtured. The Baltic accelerator program will unfold in three distinct calls, each spanning a comprehensive 6-month acceleration period. This structured approach allows for in-depth support, tailored mentorship, and strategic guidance for participating startups.
The first call for applications opens its doors in February, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for innovative entrepreneurs ready to take their ventures to new heights. Startups with a commitment to not only achieving financial success but also making a positive contribution to the environment and society are encouraged to seize this opportunity.
