Education Programs

At Sustainability InnoCenter (SIC), we design and deliver transformative education programs that focus on empowering young people, especially NEET youth and those with fewer opportunities. Our initiatives are grounded in key European frameworks — EntreComp, DigComp, and GreenComp — to foster entrepreneurial thinking, digital skills, and sustainability awareness.

We specialize in non-formal education, offering dynamic and inclusive learning experiences through:

  • Co-creation formats like ideathons and hackathons

  • Job shadowing and expert mentorship

  • Citizen science, participatory democracy, and living libraries

  • Networking events that connect youth with real-world changemakers

Since 2022, we’ve led 9 youth-centered projects, including:

  • Competence Aid for Ukraine (2023–2024): Over 250 young participants

  • iResilience (2024): Engaged 50 youth in resilience-focused activities

  • BALTIC2HAND and Baltic Impact Accelerator (2022–2026): More than 100 young entrepreneurs supported

We’re also proud to contribute to Erasmus+ Youth Worker Mobilities, with recent involvement in:

  • Wear It Fair (2024): 3 direct and 120 indirect beneficiaries in Sweden

  • Visibility for Change (2024–2025): 3 direct and 150 indirect beneficiaries in Sweden

Alongside non-formal programs, SIC supports formal vocational education in collaboration with Folkuniversitetet, Sweden’s largest VET provider. In 2024, we launched the fully developed course IT för Yrkesrollen , now delivered to students in Life Sciences — with 15 students having successfully completed the program.

Bridging the gap: We are committed to closing the divide between driven young professionals and companies eager to invest in emerging talent. We firmly believe in the power of co-creation and diversity as key drivers of success.
